Install Drive Explorer

This function is only available for the Advanced plan.
For the Standard plan, you can use this function by applying for and using the Drive option.

Install Drive Explorer, which allows you to use LINE WORKS Drive in the cloud like folder on your PC.

When installing Explorer for the first time, you must allow the system software of 'Benjamin Fleischer' in the 'System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General' tab.

For macOS Catalina version of Drive Explorer, only 'My Drive' and folders 'Shared with me' can save files to PC folders with real-time synchronization.

The Shared Drive and Team/Group Folder are provided as a network drive rather than via sync. Therefore, you cannot store files in a PC folder, but can check the files on the following directory while logged in.

  • Finder > Favorites > LINE WORKS Drive

To use the latest features of Drive Explorer, such as syncing Shared Drives, Team/Group Folder, and file-by-file, macOS must be updated to Big Sur 11 or later.

Install Drive Explorer

  1. Access the download page.
  2. Access the download page.
  3. Click 'Download' for macOS.
  4. Run the saved file to install Drive Explorer.
  5. Click 'Finish'.

Update OS version

If your macOS version is Catalina 10.15 or earlier, you won't be able to use PC capacity optimization features, such as sync by file, even if you install the latest Drive Explorer.

To use the latest features of Drive Explorer, you must update macOS to version 10.15 or later.

Even when you update the OS version, the previously set sync settings remain unchanged.

  1. Click 'System Preferences' on the menu bar at the top of the screen or the  icon in the top left and select 'System Preferences'.
  2. Click 'Software Update'.
  3. Click 'Update Now' or 'Upgrade Now'.
