View details of a file/folder

You can view the details of files and folders, such as whether they are locked or shared.

View details

Mobile

  1. Tap  of a folder or file.
  2. Tap ‘More info’.

You can view the following information or select the following features in ‘Details’. Some items may not be displayed depending on the file type or status.

  • File information
  • Folder information
    • Type, location, size, space used, contents, and created and modified date
  • Sharing information
    • Folder sharing: Sharing status, shared members, master, and access authority
    • Link sharing: Sharing status, expiration period, and user authority

Depending on the folder type or authority, you may not be able to see the version history, file lock, file sharing, etc.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Hover the mouse over a file or folder.
  3. Click .
  4. Click ‘Details’.

You can view the following information or select the following features in ‘Details’. Some items may not be displayed depending on the file type or status.

  • File information
    • Icon, file name
    • File info: Type, location, size, storage used, and created and edited date
  • Folder information
    • Type, location, size, storage used, contents, and created and edited date
  • Sharing information
    • Shared date and shared members
  • Image information: Date of photo-shoot and resolution

Open details from the right section in Drive

You can view more information and activities in ‘Details’.

    • Locked/Unlocked, lock date, and user who locked the file

  3. Click on the top right.
  4. Click ‘Details’.
