Add or edit questions

You can compose your form with 5 types of questions and add or copy up to 200 questions.

Also, you can set questions as required, multiple choices, and branching questions. For the order of questions, you can change freely as you want.

Add or edit questions

There must be at least one question in a form.
You can create questions in Multiple choice, Descriptive, Date, Dropdown, and Rating formats.

Question type Answer type
Multiple choice The respondent selects one or more answers from a given list of choices.
Descriptive The respondent directly enters the answer.
Date The respondent selects one or more dates.
Dropdown The respondent selects one answer from the drop-down list.
Rating The respondent gives a rating to the question.

For multiple choice and dropdown questions, you can add or edit answer choices.

  1. Tap ‘Add component’ at the bottom of the page to add a question.
  2. Select the question type to add.

Set questions as required

Form creators can set each question as required.

At the bottom of the Question, turn on ‘Required’ to make it necessary for the respondents to answer the question.

Questions set as required have the * mark on the left of the question title.

Allow multiple answers

You can allow the respondents select multiple answer choices for a question. However, multiple answers are only available for multiple choice and date type questions.

Turn on ‘Multiple’ below the question.

Rearrange the order of questions

You can change the order of questions.

Mobile

  1. Tap ‘Reorder’ on the bottom.
  2. Use on the right of each question to drag & drop to the location you want.

PC Web

  1. Click ‘Reorder’ on the bottom.

Copy questions

You can copy existing questions to add new questions.

The question title, description, answer choices, and images in answer choices are copied to the new question.

Mobile

  1. Tapof the question you want to copy.
  2. Tap ‘Copy questions’ to copy the question.

PC Web

  1. Clickof the question you want to copy.
  2. Click ‘Copy questions’ to copy the question.

Delete questions

You can delete questions.

When you delete a question with a response submitted, the corresponding response will also be deleted and cannot be restored.

Delete on the Edit Form screen

  1. Tap  on the bottom right of the question to delete the question.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the bottom right of the question to delete the question.

Add next question

The ‘Add next question’ function allows you to add new questions quickly wherever you want.

Mobile

  1. Tapof the question in place of where you want to add a question.
  2. Tap ‘Add next question’ and then select the question type to add.

PC Web

  1. Clickof the question in place of where you want to add a question.
  2. Click ‘Add next question’.
  3. Select the question type and then click ‘Add’.

Branching question settings

Set up branching questions to show the page appropriate for the answer choice that the form participants have chosen.

You can set up branching questions only after adding pages.

The branching question setting is only available for the ‘Multiple choice’, ‘Date’, ‘Dropdown’, ‘Rating’ question types that only allows one answer choice to be selected. Also, the page for branching questions must come after the given branching page.

  1. Tapof the question.
  2. Tap ‘Skip logic’.
  3. Select a page to direct the participants according to the answer choice they chose. Tap ‘Do not diverge’ for answer choices to not apply the branching setting.

PC Web

  1. Click of the question.
  2. Click ‘Skip logic’.
  3. Select a question to connect according to the answer choice. Click ‘Do not diverge’ for answer choices to not apply the branching setting.
