Spam settings

In LINE WORKS, you can block spam emails or move them to the Spam Mail.

Each user has their own list of blocked users.

If you add a sender’s email address to the block list, all emails sent from the sender will be moved to Spam Mail from on.

Enter an email address or domain to block

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Click  on the bottom left in Mail.
  3. Click ‘Settings’.
  4. Click ‘Advanced settings’.
  5. Click ‘Set Spam > Block’.
  6. Enter the email addresses you want to block.
  7. Click ‘Add’.

Add a sender’s email address to the block list

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Open an email and click the email address of the sender.
  3. Click ‘Block’ from the drop-down menu.
  4. Read the message, and click ‘OK’.

Search in the block list

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Click  on the bottom left in Mail.
  3. Click ‘Settings’.
  4. Click ‘Advanced settings’.
  5. Click ‘Set Spam > Block’.
  6. Click  on the top right of the list.
  7. Enter the filter criteria or actions in the search box and press Enter on the keyboard.

Delete an email address from the block list

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Click  on the bottom left in Mail.
  3. Click ‘Settings’.
  4. Click ‘Advanced settings’.
  5. Click ‘Set Spam > Block’.
  6. Select the email address you want to delete from the list.
  7. Click ‘Delete’.

Report spam

You can change the settings in ‘Settings > Set Spam’ or report an email that you suspect as spam to block or permanently delete the email. The system analyzes the emails you reported as spam to block spam emails in the future.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Open the email you want to report as spam from the email list.
  3. Click ‘Report Spam’ on the top to open the ‘Report Spam’ window.
  4. Select how you want to process the email.
    • Send to spam mailbox: The email will be moved to Spam Mail.
    • Delete permanently: The email will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
    • Block receiving mail from selected address: Check the checkbox if you want to block all emails from the selected email address.
    • Mark existing messages from the selected email address as spam altogether: Check the checkbox if you want to process all emails sent from the selected email address as spam.
  5. Click ‘Confirm’.

If you moved an email to Spam Mail by mistake, select the email in ‘Spam Mail’ and click ‘Cancel spam’.
