What is Message?

CONTENTS

LINE WORKS Message is a business messenger that provides features optimized for work with usability similar to LINE.

Types of Message Rooms

Message rooms can be classified into four types based on their purpose:
General Message Room, Group Message Room, Team Message Room, and Message to me.

What can we do with Message?

# Send message

In the message room, you can not only send text messages, but also attach photos, videos, files, surveys, locations, templates and even tasks to the message. You can also use business-specialized features such as read receipt to find out who have read or not yet read the sent message and recall messages to prevent sending messages by mistake.

# Use Note, Event, Task, and Folder

In a message room where multiple people chat, you can use four additional features: Note, Event, Task, and Folder. This is useful in situations where you are collaborating closely with members.

The Team Message Room is synced with organization chart.  When members of the organization change, changes are automatically reflected in the members of the message room.

A project managed by a specific person can be made into a Group Message Room . Group Master manages members and feature settings of Group, and it is synced with group contact information in Contacts.

# Voice and Video calls

There are times when it is so difficult to share ideas only with the text. As a solution, you can either send a voice message or make voice and video calls to communicate better. Even when working remotely, Screen Sharing would help your meeting go seamlessly.

# LINE or LINE WORKS connection

In the message room, you can communicate not only with internal members, but also with external users who use LINE WORKS or LINE.

Group collaboration with external people can start with 'Chat with External Users'.

A message room where external LINE WORKS users and multiple members can communicate will be created as an External Group that can be managed by the Group Master.
