Mentions

CONTENTS

This function allows you to send a message to a specific user in the message room. The member receives a notification, and the name is highlighted in the message room for visibility.

Mention a member

Mobile

  1. Enter '@name' in the message input box or simply '@' to view a list of members in the message room.
    Tap @All to mention all users in the message room.
  2. Select the person to mention, enter a message, and tap the 'Send' button.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Click a message room from the message room list.
  3. Enter '@name' in the message input box or simply '@' to show a list of members in the message room.
    Click @All to mention all members in the message room.
  4. Select the person to mention, enter a message, and press the 'Enter' on the keyboard.

PC App

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click a message room from the message room list.
  3. Enter '@name' in the message input box or simply '@' to view a list of members in the message room.
    Click @All to mention all users in the message room.
  4. Select the person to mention, enter a message, and press the 'Enter' on the keyboard.

Notifications for mentioned messages

You will receive a pop-up and message notification saying "You've been mentioned" when someone mentions you in a message room. In the message room, your name will be highlighted to help you easily check the messages that mention you.

Message rooms with mentions on the message you did not read yet are highlighted in the list.

Receive notifications for mentioned messages only

You can only receive notifications for the messages that mention you in a specific message room of your choice.

Mobile

  1. Tap  in the message room.
  2. Tap 'Notification settings'.
  3. Tap 'Mentioned messages' among the list.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Click a message room from the message room list.
  3. Click  on the top right of the screen.
  4. Click 'Notification Settings'.
  5. Click 'Messages with my name mentioned'.
  6. Click 'OK'.

PC App

  1. Click on the top left of the screen.
  2. Click a message room from the message room list.
  3. Click  at the top right of the message room.
  4. Click 'Notifications'.
  5. Click 'Messages with my name mentioned'.
  6. Click 'OK'.

From then, you will only be notified when you are mentioned in a message.
