LINE WORKS web service provides a pop-up notification.
The common web pop-up notifications are available in Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers.
Web pop-up notification settings
PC Web
- Click
on the top right. Then click 'Set Notification'.
- Turn 'Web pop-up notification settings' on or off in Notification.
Preview notification
You can select whether to preview the pop-up notification.
PC Web
- Click
on the top right. Then click 'Set Notification'.
- Make sure 'PC Web pop-up notification' is turned on in Notification.
- Select 'Preview content' or 'Hide content'.
Notification settings per service
You can set notifications for each service.
PC Web
- Click
on the top right. Then click 'Set Notification' from the menu.
- Make sure 'PC Web pop-up notification' is turned on in Notification.
- In 'Settings per service', check the checkboxes of the services to enable notifications.
- Board notification : Change the notification setting for each board. For more information, refer to the Board notification settings.
- Message notification : Check if you are receiving duplicate notifications in PC and mobile app while using PC web pop-up notifications. For more information, refer to the Message notification settings.
- Mail notification : Change the notification settings for emails from VIPs or each mailbox. For more information, refer to the Mail notification settings.
- Calendar notification : Change the notification settings for events or each calendar. For more information, refer to the Calendar notification settings.
- Task notification : Change the notification settings for task assignments, completion, changes, and incomplete task reminders. For more information, refer to the Task notification settings.
- Drive notification : Change the notification settings for file unlock and sharing invitations. For more information, refer to the Drive notification settings.
- Form notification : Change the notification settings related to forms you created or participated in. For more information, refer to the Form notification settings.
Notification settings per platform
When using a web service, you can change the setting to avoid receiving the same message notifications on multiple platforms.
PC app message notifications
You can set whether to receive message pop-up notifications on the PC app while using the LINE WORKS PC web.
PC Web
- Click
on the top right. Then click 'Set Notification'.
- Click 'Message' in Notification of Settings.
- In 'Notification > Message Notification', check or uncheck the checkbox of 'Do not receive alerts from PC app when using PC web'.
If checked, you will receive PC app message notifications if you are inactive on the web for 3 minutes.
Mobile app message notifications
You can set whether to receive message push notifications on the mobile app while using either the PC web or the PC app.
PC Web
- Click
on the top right. Then click 'Set Notification'.
- Click 'Message' in Notification of Settings.
- In 'Notification > Message Notification', check or uncheck the checkbox of 'Do not receive alerts from mobile app when using PC web'.
The settings for 'Mobile App notifications' will be synced, and you will not receive message push notifications when using at least one of the PC web or app. Also, if you are away from your PC for more than 3 minutes, or you do not use both the web and PC app for more than 3 minutes, you will receive a message notification again through the mobile app.
Show notifications on each browser
If you have blocked browser notifications from showing, you will not receive any web pop-up notifications.
You can enable notifications by setting as 'Allow' for each browser (as shown below). After then, in the 'Web pop-up notification settings' window of the LINE WORKS PC web, check the checkbox of 'Web pop-up notification' to allow notifications.
Chrome
Click on the top right of the browser. Go to 'Settings > Security and Privacy > Site Settings > Notifications' and add 'notify.worksmobile.com' to the 'Allowed' list.
Microsoft Edge
Click on the top right of the browser. Then click 'Add' on the right of 'Allow' in 'Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Notifications' to add 'notify.worksmobile.com'.
