You can only use this function if the administrator has enabled it in the login policy.
Log in with ID/Password
You can log in with your LINE WORKS ID and password.
Register ID/Password
If you did not register an ID when signing up for LINE WORKS, register your ID and password for the first time.
Mobile
- Tap
on the bottom right.
- Tap

- Tap 'Login and security' and then 'ID'.
- Enter the ID and password to register and tap 'Modify'.
PC Web
- Click your profile photo on the top right.
- Click 'Security' from the menu.
- Under 'Login Information', click 'Change ID'.
- Enter the ID and password to register and click 'Modify'.
You can change the password afterward, but please note that you must ask the administrator to change the ID once registered.
Log in with LINE
You can connect your LINE account in advance by using the 'Login with LINE' function. With the function in use, you can log in at ease in the future without having to enter your ID and password.
Mobile
- Tap
on the bottom right.
- Tap

- Tap 'Login and security' and then turn on 'Login with LINE'.
- Log in to LINE and approve access to LINE WORKS to complete the connection.
PC Web
- Click your profile photo on the top right.
- Click 'Security' from the menu.
- Under Login Setting, click 'Connect' next to 'Login with LINE'.
- Log in to LINE from the LINE login window, and approve access to LINE WORKS to complete the connection.
Your LINE account will only be used to verify your LINE WORKS account for logging in.
- Your LINE account login information will only be processed on the LINE login page. LINE WORKS does not receive or store your LINE password.
- Your LINE account information will not be exposed to the administrator or members, nor will receive any messages via LINE.
Log in with phone number
If you connect your mobile phone number to your LINE WORKS account in advance, you will receive a one-time verification number via your mobile phone on your every login.
Mobile

- Turn on 'Login and security' in the Login information.
- Enter the mobile phone number you want to connect to and tap 'Verify'. You can connect to the phone number set in your profile information or to a new number.
- Enter the verification number sent via text message, and tap 'OK'. If the phone number is already connected to another account, you can disconnect and then connect to the current account.
- On the next screen, tap 'Connect' to complete the connection.
PC Web
- Click your profile photo on the top right.
- Click 'Security' from the menu.
- Under Login Setting, click 'Connect' next to 'Login with phone number'.
- Enter the mobile phone number to connect to, and click 'Verify'. You can connect to the phone number set in your profile information or to a new number.
- Enter the verification number sent via text message and click 'OK'. If the phone number is already connected to another account, you can disconnect and then connect to the current account.
- Next, click 'Connect' to complete the connection.
- You can connect to the phone number set in your profile information or to a new number.
- If you have connected a different phone number, the number will not be exposed nor used except when logging in to the LINE WORKS services (the phone number set in your profile information will be used for finding your ID/password.)
- If you are in a situation where you cannot receive text messages on the registered mobile phone number on your next login, you can tap 'Receive verification number as service notification message (tentative)' to receive a verification number via service notification.
Log in by unlocking your phone
You can log in to LINE WORKS by registering the mobile device with LINE WORKS app installed as My Device and then unlocking the mobile device (fingerprint, pattern, face recognition, etc.).
However, if all unlock methods (fingerprint, pattern, face recognition, etc.) of the mobile device registered as My Device are disabled, you cannot log in by unlocking the mobile phone.
Registering a mobile device as My Device
Register the mobile device you are using as My Device.
One mobile device can be registered as My Device for up to 5 accounts.
However, the unlock method (fingerprint, pattern, face recognition, etc.) must be set on the mobile device before registering as My Device.

- After tapping 'Register', verify using the unlock method (fingerprint, pattern, face recognition, etc.) set on the device.
- Register your device name and tap 'Register'.
Log in from your mobile device
Log in again when you log out of an already registered device.
Mobile
- Tap the account you want to log in to.
- Log in using the unlock method (fingerprint, pattern, face recognition, etc.) set on the device.
Log in from your PC to your mobile device
When you log in to the PC web, PC app, or Drive Explorer, you can log in by verifying with the mobile device registered as My Device.
Log in with your ID
PC
- Enter your ID on the first login screen.
- On the screen to enter your password, click 'Log in with My Mobile Device '. If the mobile device is not registered, this button will not be displayed.
- Tap the 'Are you logging in on your PC right now? ' notification sent to your mobile device.
- After confirming that the two-digit number displayed on the PC screen matches the number displayed on the mobile app, tap 'Log in to PC' in the mobile app to log in to the PC.
Log in with your mobile phone number
PC
- Enter your mobile phone number on the first login screen.
- Tap the 'Are you logging in on your PC right now? ' notification sent to your mobile device.
- After confirming that the two-digit number displayed on the PC screen matches the number displayed on the mobile app, tap 'Log in to PC' in the mobile app to log in to the PC.
2-step verification
2-step verification is a function that adds the verification step of receiving a one-time verification number through the method saved in personal information when logging in. Using 2-step verification helps to protect your account from password leaks or attempts to steal your account.
Turn on 2-step verification
- Saving a personal email address or phone number to receive a one-time verification number activates 2-step verification.
- After activating the function, you must go through the 2 step verification process every time you log in.
Mobile

- Turn on '2-step verification'.
- Enter the personal email address and phone number for 2-step verification.
PC Web
- Click the profile photo on the top right.
- Click 'Security' from the menu.
- Turn on '2FA (optional)'.
- Enter the personal email address and phone number for 2-step verification.
- Depending on the service usage environment, such as when the in-house system and personal information are synced, you may not be able to directly add information for 2-step verification. In this case, you can request the administrator or add personal information in the in-house system synced with LINE WORKS.
Turn off 2-step verification
- If your administrator has set 2-step verification as ‘Optional – Apply according to members' selection', you can turn off the function at any time.
- If your administrator has set 2-step verification as ‘Required – Apply 2-step verification to all members', you must proceed with the 2 step verification process when logging in and cannot turn off the function.

- Turn off '2FA (optional)'.
Quick login on the mobile app
After logging in on the mobile app, you can set up a quick login for your convenience. You can log in with PIN or biometric authentication instead of entering your ID and password starting from your next login.
However, depending on the internal system settings, this setting may not be displayed.
Mobile

- Tap 'Security' to access the screen where you can set the screen lock and 'Quick Login' to in use.
- Turn on 'Use PIN' under 'Quick Login'.
- Set up a PIN to use for quick login.
- If no PIN is registered, enter a new PIN and confirm it once again to register your new PIN and activate Quick Login.
- If the 'Screen Lock' was already activated in advance, simply enter the same PIN to enable Quick Login.
- After registering your PIN, you can then enable 'Use Biometrics'.
- If you turn on 'Use Biometrics', you can log in using the biometric authentication information (e.g., fingerprint, face recognition, or any method provided by the device) registered on your device instead of entering a PIN.
- If you turn off 'Use Biometrics', you can only log in by entering a PIN.
