Allow access to the microphone, camera, and screen recording

To use voice/video calls and screen sharing on the LINE WORKS app, you must allow the app to access the microphone, camera, and screen recording.

Mobile

Allow access to microphone and camera on iOS devices

  1. When you are using the voice/video call for the first time, tap ‘OK’ on the pop-up asking for permission.
  2. If you want to allow access after selecting ‘Don’t Allow’, you must make changes to your device settings.
    1. Open Settings on your device.
    2. Tap ‘LINE WORKS’ from the list.
    3. Under ‘ALLOW LINE WORKS TO ACCESS’ turn on ‘Microphone’ and ‘Camera’.

 

Allow access to microphone and camera on Android devices

  1. When you are using the voice/video call for the first time, tap ‘Allow’ on the pop-up.
  2. If you want to allow access after selecting ‘Deny’, you must make changes to your device settings.
    1. Select ‘Settings > Apps > LINE WORKS’ on your device.
    2. Select ‘Permissions’ in App info.
    3. Allow access to ‘Microphone’, ‘Phone’, and ‘Camera’.

PC

Allow access to microphone and camera on Windows OS

  1. Go to Windows Settings > ‘Privacy’ > App permissions.
  2. Click ‘Microphone’ and ‘Camera’.
  3. Allow the app to access both the microphone and camera from each page respectively.
  4. Restart the app.

 

Allow access to microphone and camera on macOS

    1. Go to ‘System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy’.
    2. Click Microphone and Camera from the list to turn on ‘LINE WORKS’.

Allow screen recording on macOS

  1. When you are using the screen sharing for the first time, click ‘Open Security Preferences’ on the pop-up asking for permission.
  2. Go to ‘Privacy > Screen Recording’, and turn on ‘LINE WORKS’.
  3. If you want to allow access after selecting ‘Don’t Allow’, you must make changes to your device settings.
    1. Go to ‘System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy’.
    2. Click Screen Recording from the list to turn on ‘LINE WORKS’.
    3. Restart the app.
