View and download photos/files

This function is only available for the Advanced plan.
For the Standard plan, you can use this function by applying for and using the Drive option.

You can view photos, videos, and files saved in Drive and download them to your device.

On mobile devices, file download may be restricted depending on administrator settings.

View and download photos/videos

You can enlarge or download the attached photos or videos to your device.

Mobile

View and download photos or videos

  1. Tap a photo or video in Drive.
  2. Tap  on the bottom right to save the photo or video to your device.

 

Download from the list

  1. From the file list in Drive, tapright to the photo or video to download.
  2. Tap 'Download'.

 

Download multiple photos or videos

  1. From the file list in Drive, press and hold a photo or video to download.
  2. Select the photos or videos to download in order.
  3. Tap .

When you select a photo or download that is not available for download, will not be displayed.

PC Web

View and download photos or videos

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Double-click the photo or video to view.
  3. Click on the top left to save the file to your device.

File types not supported by the viewer will start downloading when double-clicked.

 

Download from the list

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Hover the mouse over the photo or video to download.
  3. Click .

 

Download multiple photos or videos

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. From the file list in Drive, select left to the photo or video to download.
  3. Click 'Download' on the top.

Edit photos

If the 'Restrict file download on mobile app' is set to 'Do not restrict' in Admin, you can edit photos before saving them in Drive.

However, you cannot edit video or GIF files.

Mobile

  1. Tap the photo you want to edit.
  2. Tap 'Edit'.
  3. If you need to edit the photo, use the functions below, and tap 'Apply'.
    Rotate
    Crop
    Draw

    If you want to revert your photo to the original, tap 'Back to original'.

  4. Tap  to save the photo to your device.

View and download files

You can view document files such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word files saved in Drive and download them to your device.

For PC web, you can browse files with LINE WORKS Document Viewer without any related programs.

However, on mobile, the device's default viewer or related program runs first. LINE WORKS Document Viewer only runs if the administrator has set 'Restrict file download on mobile app' or 'Watermark' to use in 'Admin > Security > File Security'.

Mobile

View and download a file on iOS devices

You can only download files to devices with iOS 11 or later versions. File download is not available to versions earlier than iOS 11 due to the nature of iOS.

However, when a file is tapped, the mobile Document Viewer opens depending on the administrator's settings, and downloads may be restricted.

  1. Tap the file you want to view and download from Drive.
  2. On the top right, tap and then select 'Save to Files' to save.

 

View and download a file on Android devices

On Android devices, you can choose which program to open attachments with.

However, when a file is tapped, the mobile Document Viewer opens depending on the administrator's settings, and downloads may be restricted.

  1. In Drive, tap the file you want to view and download.
  2. Select the program to open the file.

 

Download multiple files

  1. Tap and hold the file you want to download from the file list in Drive.
  2. Select the files you want to download.
  3. Tap  to download the files.

When you select a file that is not available for download, will not be displayed. 

PC Web

View and download a file

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Double-click the file you want to view.
  3. Click 'Download' on the top right to save the file.

Depending on the file extension, some files may start downloading immediately after double-clicking.

In Settings, you can set the document file to download immediately after double-clicking.

 

Download from the list

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Hover the mouse over the file to download.
  3. Click  to save the file to your device.

 

Download multiple files

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. From the file list in Drive, select left to the file to download.
  3. Click 'Download' on the top.
