File lock

If you don't want other members to edit the files in your message room folder, you can use the 'File Lock' function. When a file is locked, other members can only read the file and cannot edit the file with the same file name.

When a file is locked,  will be displayed on the list.

Lock a file

Members with the permission to edit can lock files in the message room folder.

Mobile

  1. Tap  of the file to lock.
  2. Tap 'More Info'.
  3. Turn on the 'File Lock' setting.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Click a message room from the message room list on the left.
  3. Click the 'Folder' tab on the right side of the message room.
  4. Click  on the right side of the file you want to lock.
  5. Click 'File Lock'.

Check the file lock information

You can check the information on the locked file such as the date when the file was locked, and the person who locked the file.

Mobile

  1. Tap  next to the file you want to check the lock information.
  2. Tap 'More Info'.
  3. Check the date when the file was locked and the person who locked the file.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Click a message room from the message room list on the left.
  3. Click the 'Folder' tab on the right side of the message room.
  4. Click  next to the file you want to check the lock information.
  5. Click 'Locked file information' to check the 'Locking date' and the 'User who locked the file' in the 'Locked file information' window.

Unlock a file

Members with the permission to edit can unlock files in the message room folder. When a file is unlocked, the person who locked the file receives a notification.

Mobile

  1. Tap  next to the file you want to unlock.
  2. Tap 'More Info'.
  3. Turn off the 'File Lock' setting.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Click a message room from the message room list on the left.
  3. Click the 'Folder' tab on the right side of the message room.
  4. Click  on the right side of the file you want to unlock.
  5. Click 'Locked file information'.
  6. Click 'Unlock file' at the bottom of the 'Locked file information' window to unlock the file.
