Create a task

CONTENTS

After entering the details of the task, you can select 'Deadline', 'Message Room', 'Assigner', 'Assignee', 'Completion condition', and attach a file.

However, to select a message room, you must turn on the 'View in Task' setting in that message room.

You can also check the tasks you have created in the Task calendar of My Calendar.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Home' on the bottom.
  2. Tap 'Task'.
  3. Tap  on the bottom right.
  4. Enter the details of the task. Then, select 'Deadline', 'Message Room', 'Assigner', 'Assignee', 'Completion condition', and attach files if necessary.
  5. Tap 'Save'.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Click 'New Task' on the top left.
  3. Enter the details of the task. Then select 'Deadline', 'Message Room', 'Assigner', 'Assignee', 'Completion condition', and attach files if necessary.
  4. Click 'Save'.

Enter the content

You can enter up to 5,000 characters for the content of each task.

The information entered before the first line break is displayed in the task list and is in large and bold font when checking the details of the task.

Select a deadline

You can select a task deadline from the given choices or the calendar.

The default setting is 'None'.

When you select a deadline for a task, you can receive a reminder notification and check it on the Task Calendar.

Mobile

  1. In the new task screen, tap the 'Deadline' you want from 'None', 'Today', 'Tomorrow', and 'Next Week'.
    If you want to select a different period, tap  the date you want for the deadline from the calendar, and then tap 'Confirm' to set a deadline.

PC Web

  1. In the new task page, click the 'Deadline' you want from 'None', 'Today', 'Tomorrow', and 'Next week'.
    If you want to select a different period, click 'Select dates', and the date you want as the deadline from the calendar.

Select a message room

You can select a message room to share tasks.

For a message room, the default is set to 'None', and you can choose whether to send a notification to the message room when selecting a message room for a task.

Mobile

  1. Tap right to 'Message Room' on the new task screen.
  2. Select a message room.

PC Web

Click  right to 'Message Room' on the create a new task screen to select a message room.

Select an assigner and an assignee

My Task

You can select an assigner and an assignee by searching for names or selecting from the organizational chart.

Assigner refers to a member who has requested to perform a task, and the assignee is a member asked to perform the task.

You can designate 1 assigner and up to 100 assignees. You cannot select members from other companies.

By default, task creators are assigned as assigner and assignee. If you select someone else other than you, notifications are sent to the selected person when the task is saved.

Mobile

  1. In the new task screen, tap  on the right of 'Assigner' and 'Assignee'. Select a member by searching the name or selecting from the organizational chart. 
  2. Tap 'Confirm' to assign an assigner and an assignee.

PC Web

  1. In the new task screen, click the 'x' on the right of the name selected as the assigner or assignee.
  2. Select assigner and assignee by searching for their names or clicking 'Contacts' to select a member from the organizational chart.
  3. Click 'Confirm' to assign an assigner and an assignee.

Message Room Task

You can search for message room members or select them from the member list to designate the assigner and assignees.

You can designate 1 assigner and up to 100 assignees.

  1. On the new task screen, tap  on the right of the 'Assigner' and 'Assignee'. Then, search the name of the member or designate from the list.
  2. Tap ‘Confirm’ to designate the assigner and assignee.

PC Web

  1. On the create a new task screen, click the 'x' to the right of your name, designated as the assigner or assignee.
  2. Search for the member’s name, or click ‘Contacts’ and select from the message room member list to designate the assigner and assignee.
  3. Click ‘Confirm’ to designate the assigner and assignee.

Select completion conditions

If you designate multiple assignees, you can select the completion conditions of a task.

  • Completed by 1 assignee: The task completed only by one of the assignees will complete the task.
  • Completed by all assignees: All assignees have to complete the task in order to complete it.

The default is 'Completed by 1 assignee'.

Mobile

  1. On the new task screen, tap  on the right of the ‘Completion condition’.
  2. Select the completion condition.

PC Web

On the new task window, click  on the right of the ‘Completion condition’ and then select the completion condition.

Attach a file

You can attach up to 10 files and 2GB to each task.

Attachments may be restricted depending on the 'Restrict file uploads on mobile app' and 'Block certain file extensions' settings in Admin.

Attach a photo, video, or file stored in the device

You can attach photos, videos, or files stored in your device as files.

When attaching files using ‘Select Photos/Videos’ on mobile, you can attach up to 50 MB per file.

Mobile

  1. In the new task screen, tap .
  2. Tap 'Select Photos/Videos' or 'Select File'.
  3. Select a photo, video, or document file from your device and attach it to the task.

PC Web

  1. In the new task screen, click 'My PC' of 'Attach'.
  2. Select files from your PC to attach to a task.

Attach files stored in Drive

You can attach photos, videos, or document files stored in Drive.

Mobile

  1. In the new task screen, tap .
  2. Tap 'Select in Drive'.
  3. Select files from Drive to attach to a task.

PC Web

  1. In the new task page, click 'Drive' of 'Attach'.
  2. Select files from Drive to attach to a task.
