The administrator can use the MDM (Mobile Device Management) function when a member lost a device or to delete the LINE WORKS app from the resigned member’s device. To use the function, the administrator must set LINE WORKS MDM to in use, and the Mobile Device Management must also be enabled on the member’s device.
If the administrator has set LINE WORKS MDM to ‘Optional’
Members can enable or disable the Mobile Device Management function by themselves. In other words, when LINE WORKS MDM is set as optional, and if a member disables the Mobile Device Management function, the administrator cannot forcibly reset the app or the device.
- Tap on the bottom right.
- Tap .
- Tap ‘Remote Device Control’.
- If you want to allow Mobile Device Management, tap ‘Register device’ to install Profile.
Even if you go back to the previous screen without installing Profile, you can continue using LINE WORKS.
If the administrator has set LINE WORKS MDM to ‘Required’
Profile must be installed to use the LINE WORKS mobile app.
If you did not install the Profile, the ‘Remote Device Control’ screen will appear after logging in. Tap ‘Register device’ to install Profile.
If you go back to the previous screen without installing Profile, you will be logged out from your device and will not be able to use LINE WORKS.
