Move and filter emails

You can create mailboxes for each purpose to move the received emails accordingly or create filters to auto-sort emails for easy management.

Move emails

Move emails to another mailbox

You can move emails to another mailbox of your choice.

Mobile

  1. Open an email and tap   .
  2. Tap ‘Move to’.
  3. Select the mailbox to move the email.
  4.  Tap ‘Move to’ to move the email.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Click an email in Mail.
  3. Open the email, and click ‘Move’ on the top.
  4. Select the mailbox to move the email and click ‘Move’.

Move multiple emails to another mailbox

Mobile

  1. Tap and hold the email you want to move on the email list.
  2. Select the emails to move.
  3. Tap  on the bottom.
  4. Tap ‘Move’.
  5. Select the mailbox to move the emails.
  6. Tap ‘Move to’ to move the emails.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. On the email list, click on the left side of the emails you want to move.
  3. Click ‘Move’ on the top right.
  4. Select the mailbox to move the emails and then click ‘Move’.

Move emails in search results to another mailbox

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Enter search keywords in the search box on the top.
  3. Click  to search for the emails.
  4. Click  on the top to select all emails on the current page.
  5. Click ‘Select All’ in the search results on the top right.
  6. Click the ‘Move’ button on the top.
  7. Select the mailbox to move the emails and then click ‘Move’.
  8. Select ‘OK’ in the dialogue box.

Create filters

You can add rules to a filter from the email list or the email body.

However, for the mobile app, you can only add filter rules for the sender’s email address.

Mobile

  1. Open an email and tap   .
  2. Tap ‘Always move to’.
  3. Select the mailbox to move the email.
  4. Tap ‘Move to’ to move the email, and all emails sent from this sender will be automatically moved to the selected mailbox from now on.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. On the email list, click on the left side of the email you want to create a filter.
  3. Click ‘Move’ on the top.
  4. Select the mailbox to move the email, and click ‘Add Filter’.
  5. In the ‘Add Filter’ window, select the conditions (sender address or title) to add rules.
  6. If you want to move all previously received emails under the same condition to the selected mailbox, select ‘Apply to existing emails as well’.
  7. Once a filter is created, any email under the set conditions will be automatically moved to the selected mailbox.

You can create up to 1000 filters.

To edit the filter, set up advanced criteria or detailed actions, go to ‘PC Web > Settings > Mail > Manage/filter mail > Filter’.
