Status

This function is only available for the Standard and Advanced plans.

Set whether to allow members to display their status and edit, add, or delete statuses.

If the Display status is allowed, members can set their status as busy, away, offline, or absent, and the status is displayed in profiles and member lists of message rooms.

Enable or disable Display status

Set whether to allow members to display status.

When you disable ‘Display status’, all previously set member status information will be deleted.

  1. Select 'Member' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Status' to access the page. On mobile, tap the  button to access the menus.
  2. If the status display is not in use, press ‘Use status’. If you want to disable the status display, turn the ‘Display status’ setting off and press ‘OK’.
  3. Press ‘Save’ at the top right and press ‘OK’.

Add a status

In addition to the default statuses: busy, away, offline, or absent, you can add statuses such as remote, on vacation, and on business trip according to your needs. You can add up to 10 statuses.

  1. Select 'Member' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Status' to access the page. On mobile, tap the  button to access the menus.
  2. Press ‘Edit’ at the top and then ‘Add status’ at the bottom of the list.
  3. Enter the detailed status you wish to add and adjust the order.
    • Order: This is the order displayed when members use status settings. Press to the left of the status and drag it to the location you want.
    • Icon: The icon is displayed on the bottom left of member profile images. Select one of the default icons.
    • Status: The status name is displayed in member profile details.
    • Multi-language : The status name will be displayed in different languages when the multi-language setting is on. You can enter this when the ‘Status’ item is checked in applied information in the ‘Settings > Company Information > Set Multi-language’.
  4. Press ‘Save’ at the top right and then ‘OK’.

Edit a status

You can edit each status.

However, you cannot edit the icon, status name, and multi-language settings of the default statuses such as busy, away, offline, or absent.

  1. Select 'Member' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Status' to access the page. On mobile, tap the  button to access the menus.
  2. Press ‘Edit’ at the top to edit the details or order.
  3. Press ‘Save’ at the top right and then ‘OK’.

Set whether to use each status

Set whether to use the default statuses: busy, away, offline, or absent. When turned off, member statuses that were set to the default statuses will be changed to ‘Not set’.

  1. Select 'Member' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Status' to access the page. On mobile, tap the  button to access the menus.
  2. Press ‘Edit’ at the top and turn on or off the ‘Manage’ section of default statuses.
  3. Press ‘Save’ at the top right and then ‘OK’.

Delete a status

Besides the default statuses: busy, away, offline, or absent, you can delete custom added statuses. When deleted, member statuses that were using custom statuses will be changed to ‘Not set’.

  1. Select 'Member' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Status' to access the page. On mobile, tap the  button to access the menus.
  2. Press ‘Edit’ at the top and then ‘Delete’ in the ‘Manage’ section of the status to delete.
  3. Press ‘Save’ at the top right and then ‘OK’.
