External Group Message Room

CONTENTS

In External Group Message Rooms, you can use Note, Event, and Folder, in addition to Message, to facilitate collaboration with external LINE WORKS users.

Create an External Group Message Room

You can create an External Group Message Room by selecting 'External Users' when creating a message room.

Not only internal members but also external users who use LINE WORKS can participate in External Groups.

Group settings

A Group Master can change the settings of the External Group Message Room, such as whether to allow the use of Note, Folder, and Event.

Manage Group Masters and group members

A Group Master can manage the group masters and the group members.

Leave an External Group Message

External group members cannot leave an External Group Message Room by themselves.

Only the Group Master can add or delete group members.

If a group member is removed from an External Group Message Room by the Group Master, that person can no longer see the messages shared in the External Group Message Room. However, messages and photos shared by the person remain in the External Group Message Room.

If the administrator turns off the External Messaging function, the user is automatically removed from the external group.
